63rd EDITION – MIG INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION OF ARTISAN GELATO

EXHIBITION OF PRODUCTS AND EQUIPMENTS FOR GELATO PARLOUR

The International Exhibition of Artisian Gelato Longarone is the oldest Fair Trade in the field in Europe. The 2023 is the year of the 63rd edition on the fair trade well known thanks to the atmosphere that encourage the dialogue between people that meet in a family environment. This is the basis on which efficient and long-lasting partnership have been created.

The MIG displays all the main innovations: raw materials and ingredients, machines and equipments, furnitures and services for handmade gelato.

Furthermore workshops, international competitions, presentations, technical seminars to make MIG a fundamental moment for artisan gelato makers and for those who work in this field.

In MIG meet managers of artisan gelato parlours, chocolate shops, coffee bars, yogurt shops, cafés and restaurants, in other words all those who work only with handmade gelato or add it as a characterising and qualifying part to their business. There are also actors from Italian and foreign distribution chain: importers and distributors, sellers and wholesalers.

How to get

By car

The Longarone Fiere Exhibition center is located 7 km far from the Cortina-Cadore exit on the A27 motorway, along the SS 51 Alemagna in the town of Longarone. The motorway A27 is connected to the main motorway A4 Trieste – Milano at Mestre (direction: Milano) and at Portgruaro (directions: Austrian and Slovenian borders).
Two parking areas are next to the fair district, assuring over 2000 parking lots.

The railway station “Longarone-Zoldo” is about 500 meters away from the main entrance of the Exhibition center. Railway services assure connections to Venice and Padova.

Shuttle MIG

Also this year the shuttle bus service will be active to and from the airports of Treviso and Venice, every day of MIG, from Sunday, November 26th to Wednesday  29th.
The service will be free and exclusive to exhibitors and visitors of MIG.

The Shuttle MIG schedule will be announced a few days before by email. Reservation required.

If you like naturalist itineraries you should know that Longarone is near to Belluno Dolomites National Park located in the south of the Belluno province, to which you can arrive by the main cities of Belluno and Feltre. In the National Park of the Dolomites of Friuli there is an high level of “wilderness” of valleys whose landscape is characterised by the lack of wide streets, the shortage of residential areas and the abundance of high rock summits. The key element of these Parks is the “biodiversity” (large number of floristic and faunal elements), facilitated by the considerable difference in height, the specific geographical position and the climate.
