Gelato and tiramisu tastes at the Ancient Fair of San Gregorio anticipate the 7th European Day of Artisan Gelato.<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The 7th <\/sup>edition of Prosecco Superiore Gelato Competition took place during the Ancient Fair of San Gregorio (9th<\/sup>-10th <\/sup>-11th <\/sup>March) in Valdobbiadene Municipality (Veneto) in cooperation with Longarone Fiere – MIG, gelateriedelterritorio.it and\u00a0Cantina Produttori di Valdobbiadene \u2013 Val d\u2019Oca.<\/p>\n

This initiative represent the preview of the 7th <\/sup>European Day of Artisan Gelato (24th\u00a0 <\/sup>March) an wants to promote the connections between Prosecco and gelato, two pillar products of Veneto area and of Made in Italy worldwide.<\/p>\n

The 5th <\/sup>July 2012 the European Parliament of Strasbourg designate the European Day of Artisan Gelato<\/strong> because “between fresh daily<\/p>\n

products, artisan gelato represents the excellence in terms of quality and food safety, which enhances the value of the agri-food products of each Member State”. Therefore the day assumes a great promotional value that should involve as much as possible the whole artisan gelato industry.\"Giornata<\/p>\n

Those are the gelato makers that had to balance the Prosecco Superiore gelato, an hard challenge because alcohol is anticoagulant so it increase the difficulty to prepare the cold dessert.<\/p>\n
